My name is Opoku Antwi Benedicta. I hold a Diploma in Agriculture from Kwadaso Agricultural College.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to do my field attachment at COCOBOD, Seed Production Division, where I gained hands-on experience in seed production, nursing, and field management practices. This attachment strengthened my practical knowledge in crop production and my ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
I am passionate about agriculture and very hardworking, punctual, and eager to learn. I am ready to contribute my skills while continuing to grow professionally.
Thank you.
Climate change is no longer a distant threat—it is here, affecting rainfall patterns, soil fertility, crop yields, and livestock production across Ghana. Farmers are struggling with unpredictable weather, droughts, and floods, which directly impact food security and rural livelihoods.
Agriculture continues to be the backbone of Ghana’s economy, employing over 30% of the workforce and contributing significantly to food security and exports. With rapid innovation, government investment, and private sector growth, the sector now offers diverse career opportunities beyond traditional farming.
