Available Departments & Academic Background

Applicants are welcome across the following specialized departments:

• Animal Science: BSc/HND in Animal Science, Dairy Technology, Veterinary Science, or related fields.
• Crop & Soil Science: BSc/HND in Crop Science, Agronomy, Soil Science, Horticulture, or related fields.
• Agribusiness: BSc/HND in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
• Agricultural Engineering: BSc/HND in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanization, Irrigation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Home Science: BSc/HND in Home Economics, Food Science, Nutrition, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned department, National Service Personnel will:

• Assist faculty members with practical training sessions, laboratory demonstrations, and field experiments.
• Support departmental research projects, data collection, and administrative reporting.
• Help maintain and manage college farms, livestock units, machinery, or laboratories.
• Participate in student mentorship, campus agricultural extension activities, and community outreach programmes.
• Maintain professional standards, safety protocols, and punctuality across all assigned duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a relevant field corresponding to one of the listed departments.
• Eligibility to undertake the 2026/2027 National Service programme.
• A valid National Service PIN.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• A genuine passion for agricultural education, training, and development.
